Viewpoint "El Camino del Peregrino", Córdoba, Argentina [ENG/ESP]

In our second trip to the sierras of Córdoba we have been touring different places than the ones we visited the first time. This time our destination for yesterday was a town called "Mina Clavero" but before arriving we decided to make a short stop at a viewpoint, it was the only stop we made to admire the natural landscapes of this mountainous area.

The origin of the name is due to something religious, here are made 6-hour walks and prayers are made, this has to do with San Gabriel Brochero, who is considered the first saint of Argentina and traveled these roads in the late 1800s.

En nuestro segundo viaje a las sierras de Córdoba hemos estado recorriendo lugares diferentes a los que visitamos la primera vez. Ésta vez nuestro destino para el día de ayer era una localidad llamada "Mina Clavero" pero antes de llegar decidimos hacer una pequeña parada en un mirador, fue la única parada que hicimos para admirar los paisajes naturales de esta zona montañosa.

El origen del nombre se debe a algo religioso, acá se realizan caminatas de 6 horas y se hacen oraciones, esto tiene que ver con San Gabriel Brochero, quien es considerado primer santo de argentina y transitaba por estos caminos a finales de los años 1800.

But the main idea of this is the wonders that these landscapes offer us, stopping here and admiring the immensity of the sierras is one of the unique experiences that you can live in this province. The viewpoint where we were is on provincial route 14.

Pero la idea principal de esto son las maravillas que estos paisajes nos ofrece, detenerte acá y admirar la inmensidad de las sierras es una de las experiencias únicas que se viven en esta provincia. El mirador donde estuvimos queda en la ruta provincial 14.

There was no shortage of portraits while one of the girls admired the landscape.

No pudo faltar algunos retratos mientras una de las chicas admiraba el paisaje.

After arriving in the town of Mina Clavero we stayed at a campsite, we spent that night there and enjoyed the place and the stay. Whenever we come to camp we always visit the rivers and resorts that are close or easily accessible to the campsites but this time we did not like it very much so we went to other rivers that are visually more attractive, with better pools and better views.

Luego de llegar al pueblo Mina Clavero nos alojamos en un camping, estuvimos esa noche allí y disfrutamos del lugar y la estadía. Siempre que llegamos a acampar visitamos los ríos y balnearios que están cerca o de fácil acceso a los campings pero en esta ocasión no nos agrado mucho así que nos fuimos a otros ríos que sean visualmente más atractivos, con mejores pozos y mejores vistas.

I have been almost all day on the road and without signal looking for new places, just at this moment we have reached a town to rest and I have managed to have some signal to tell you a little of this route and journey that we are doing. He estado casi todo el día en ruta y sin señal buscando nuevos lugares, recién en este momento hemos llegado a un pueblo para poder descansar y he logrado tener algo de señal para contarles un poco de este recorrido y trayecto que estamos haciendo.
