Urban Shots on Downtown Streets in Buenos Aires | Monomad Challenge [ENG/ESP]

Good weekend friends! Today I share with you some shots of Florida street in Buenos Aires. I was walking along this place yesterday doing some banking formalities and I couldn't miss to take some pictures. Many times I focus on the famous streets and famous places and I had forgotten to go through this area and its very narrow cobblestone streets surrounded by a lot of architectural attraction.

Buen fin de semana amigos! Hoy les comparto algunas tomas sobre la calle Florida de Buenos Aires. Estuve caminando por este lugar el día de ayer haciendo unos trámites bancarios y no pude dejar pasar hacer unas fotos. Muchas veces me enfoco en las famosas calles y reconocidos lugares y había olvidado recorrer esta zona y sus entrecalles muy angostas empedradas y rodeadas de mucho atractivo arquitectónico.

A very commercial area where banks and technology companies are headquartered on different floors of these buildings.

Una zona muy comercial donde se encuentran sedes de bancos y empresas de tecnología alojadas en distintos pisos de estos edificios.

I focused on looking for angles and perspectives looking for some framing that I imagined in black and white before taking the pictures. I was struck by the urbanism and how attractive it looked to have the buildings on both sides, these stone streets and the sky in the background, I think that somehow you can notice some symmetry.

Me enfoqué en buscar ángulos y perspectivas buscando algunos encuadres que imaginé en blanco y negro antes de tomar las fotos. Me llamo mucho la atención el urbanismo y ver qué se veía muy atractivo tener los edificios de ambos lados, éstas calles de piedras y en cielo de fondo, creo que de alguna manera se puede notar algo de simetría.

I also portrayed a building that I did not know and it is a building with a lot of heritage value. It is called Ferrocarril cuenta de Córdoba and it is a work that has an Edwardian style (first time I hear of this style) built at the beginning of the last century, 1920. The truth is that it is a little different from the ones you usually see and it has an attractive dome.

Retraté además un edificio que desconocía y se trata de un edificio con muchísimo valor patrimonial. Se llama Ferrocarril cuenta de Córdoba y es una obra que tiene un estilo eduardiano (primera vez que escucho de este estilo) construído a principios del siglo pasado, 1920. La verdad si es un poco diferente a los que se suelen ver y cuenta con una atractiva cúpula.

So I photographed it from the front and from the side. A beauty of a building that enters the list of buildings I know.

Así que lo retraté desde el frente y desde su costado. Una belleza de obra que entra en la lista de edificios que conozco.
