Urban Reflections | Street Photography, Buenos Aires.

It's great to walk the city streets again in search of some reflections. This was a theme that accompanied me for many years and in my beginnings in photography and it is always nice to return to the origins, to the early days. This spring has not really been what it usually is, we have had many cloudy, rainy and hostile days, Likewise, there is always a good reason to go out, walk and find something interesting to capture.

The thing is that I have in my mind all the areas where I can find a puddle, the really important thing is to know how to take a photo that shows something different on that day, along with a reflection.

In the first photo we have the imposing building of the Buenos Aires legislature.

There is nothing more attractive than Doric or neoclassical style columns when you apply reflections. I've always looked for a way to achieve a complete and clean reflection of this metropolitan cathedral, but the tiles and the location don't help much. Although it is overly picturesque and visually stunning, its structure and history stand out on their own.

There is much to appreciate here, from left to right the one that stands out the most is the Cabildo building, also You can see the municipal palace and some not-so-old towers, such as the Provincial Bank and the modern Galicia Bank tower.

This is probably my favorite photo in the entire series, perhaps because I got a cleaner reflection and because of the cityscape elements that can be seen. Once again, the Cabildo and behind it the great tower of the legislative palace, that arched tree and the other buildings and people in this rainy atmosphere.

To finish we have another photo, another reflection of the Buenos Aires legislature palace from another perspective, another angle. I had to take the photo in wide-angle mode because I was too close to the structure.

The municipal palace is what concludes this series and although I did not really capture a reflection of this building, the view of the floor under this condition makes it very attractive and interesting.

I hope you liked this and I also wish you a nice start to the week :)
