Street Photography: Moments, People and Objects [ENG/ESP]
Taking pictures on the street is great, one of the things that makes it more interesting is to go out and hunt those moments depending on the lens you have. At least this is what I think, it is not the same to take pictures with a kit lens 18-55mm than with a 50mm lens, a 70-300 lens or a fixed lens 85mm as is the case of these photos that I share with you today.
A portrait lens for its nice bokeh in F1.8 but it also allows us to take other photos and get into street photography, capture objects, details, etc.
Hacer fotografías de calle es genial, una de las cosas que lo hace más interesante es salir cazar esos momentos según el lente que tengas. Al menos esto es lo que pienso yo, no es lo mismo hacer fotos con un lente de kit 18-55mm que con un lente 50mm, un lente 70-300 o un lente fijo 85mm como es el caso de estas fotos que hoy les comparto.
Un lente para retratos por su lindo bokeh en F1.8 pero también nos permite hacer otras fotos y adentrarnos a la fotografía de calle, capturar objetos, detalles, etc.

Una lata de cerveza Brahma bajo un árbol, basura que es "normal" ver en las calles en cualquier barrio. Podemos observar el bokeh del cual les mencioné.
I took a few minutes to go out to take pictures on corrientes avenue and later in the neighborhood of Belgrano. The difference in areas is remarkable, you can find in corrientes avenue crowds of people and in Belgrano streets with a dog 😅 I thought it was a very good idea to portray this little friend in black and white.
Me tomé unos minutos para salir a tomar fotos en la avenida corrientes y más tarde en el barrio de Belgrano. La diferencia en zonas es notable, puedes encontrar en la avenida corrientes multitud de personas y en Belgrano calles con un perro 😅 me pareció muy buena idea retratar a este pequeño amigo en blanco y negro.
A bike that reminded me of one of my motorcycles when I lived in Venezuela.
Una moto que me hizo recordar a una de mis motos cuando vivía en Venezuela.

Un transeúnte caminando por los alrededores del teatro Colón, en la zona de los tribunales y la plaza Lavalle.
Many people tell me that the bigger and more attractive the cities are, the more they favor us when it comes to taking this kind of photos. After some time I don't think this is really true, obviously it depends on what each photographer wants to express. Many times I even think that in small towns there are usually more attractive scenes, more expressive, more emotional.
The idea is to find special moments in the streets. It is nice to portray urbanism, big avenues, gigantic and eccentric buildings, but personally it is more meaningful to me an emotion, a special moment immortalized through the camera.
Muchas personas me dicen que mientras más grandes y atractivas seas las ciudades más nos favorecen a la hora de hacer este tipo de fotos. Después de alguien tiempo no considero que sea realmente así, obviamente depende de lo que cada fotógrafo quiera expresar. Muchas veces hasta pienso que en los pequeños pueblos suele haber escenas más atractivas, más expresivas, más emocionales.
La idea es encontrar momentos especiales en las calles. Es lindo retratar el urbanismo, las grandes avenidas, gigantes y excéntricos edificios pero en lo personal es más significativo para mí una emoción, un momento especial inmortalizado a través de la camara.

Acá, una persona en diagonal al teatro Colón y al mismo tiempo a la escuela Roque Sáenz Peña.
A few meters ahead, a person waiting for the traffic light change to cross Avenida Corrientes and on the other side a delivery vehicle crossing this avenue.
Algunos metros más adelante, una persona esperando el cambio de semáforo para cruzar la avenida corrientes y por otra parte un delivery transitando esta avenida.

También me sorprende como yo que estoy en la ciudad y al observar las fotos uno puede identificar más o menos por cual zona estuviste tomando estas capturas jajaja es como jugar a donde esta Wally. Puedo decir que mis dos fotos favoritas de este post son la ultima del vehículo y la de la lata de cerveza
