Republic Square, July 9 Avenue - Street Photography.

Republic Square, July 9 Avenue.

This is a series I could call "Forgotten Shots"...

Checking the photos that you do not pay attention to initially can end in something interesting, is that a different day may be a different eye. We may not find something attractive today but months later there is, we have it :) This is what usually happens to me by leaving forgotten photos in my Lightroom folders.

And here are ... some of my walk on Avenida 9 de Julio on the Republic Square.

I remember this moment... a couple of workers painting the obelisk from the heights while a drone films them :)

I used a lens with a 250mm focal distance.

From the avenue ... 18mm and the BA letters (Buenos Aires) All the obelisk and miniature painters.

Interesting cloud formation at that time, by the way.

From another angle, a little closer. The blue sky is already appreciated a little more.

This is (if I'm not wrong) one of the luxurious hotels in the area, the Marriot Hotel.

DSC_0736 (1).jpg

The busy Corrientes, a lot of traffic and an excess of advertising posters of hotels, restaurants and theaters.

DSC_0707.jpg

Two random photos that show the emblematic architecture of the area a bit.

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.

What would Buenos Aires be without its obelisk? It is undoubtedly the soul and heritage of the city.
