Moments in BNW - Monomad Challenge.

Once again, I am sharing a carefully selected series of photos from my latest walks around Buenos Aires, covering two beautiful neighborhoods that have a lot to offer: Retiro and Recoleta. But this time, the shots are somewhat minimalist in style, with less focus on architecture and buildings. I think this style of street photography is one of my favorites. I have already mentioned that I don't really like crowds or heavy traffic, as I think they ruin what I want to convey and provide too many distractions.
But this is due to my style of street photography and what I want to express with it. You can capture crowds, and that's great if that's exactly what the theme is and you want to convey that in particular, but that's not the case for me most of the time.

The first part of this series is a combination of nature, urban aesthetics, and a person in action. It is located in the Retiro neighborhood, right in San Martín Square in front of the large Monumental Tower. I captured exact moments of some people admiring the view of that tower and the iconic buildings in the area. The Retiro neighborhood has something special about it: from any area, you can admire the urban landscape, even the most neglected areas. In the end, it's all part of the whole.
I've always liked visiting Plaza San Martín because I can get incredible scenes depending on the day, time, and weather. It's simply brilliant in the way it's designed and is also perfect for a cinematic style.

Then we have some final shots in the Recoleta neighborhood where I also tried to take some minimalist shots. I'm not sure if I succeeded, but I think the results for this style have been nice, in my opinion. The lady with her back turned while another person is walking towards her, the contrast of light and shadows is very good.
Those three people lined up on the bridge and one of the planes flying over the area. I hope you liked all this and enjoyed it. Have a nice day :)

That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
