Everything is Perspective | Street Photography [ENG/ESP]
A couple of days ago I was sharing some images of street photography in the diagonal norte with florida, in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires, in rainy days and this is a second series of the photos I took that day. Highlighting the attractions of the area and looking for different angles and perspectives to get more interesting results.
My intention was to capture this area of the city and take advantage of the aesthetics or scenery that I had at that moment... the rain. So I could play a little with the colors and reflections on the ground, the buildings of great architectural and historical value and the urbanism itself.
Hace un par de días estuve compartiendo algunas imágenes de fotografía de calle en la diagonal norte con florida, en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires, en días lluviosos y ésta es una segunda serie de las fotos que tomé ese día. Resaltando los atractivos de la zona y buscando diferentes ángulos y perspectivas para obtener resultados algo más interesantes.
Mi intensión era capturar esta zona de la ciudad y aprovechar la estética o escenario que en ese momento tenía... la lluvia. Así podría jugar un poco con los colores y reflejos en el piso, los edificios de gran valor arquitectónico e históricos y el urbanismo en sí.
I consider myself a fan of old buildings, classical, neoclassical, neo-gothic styles and I could go on mentioning some others. This type of buildings with these styles abound in this area and for me it is a pleasure to portray them, the Bencich building is one of the ones I show in these photos, as well as the old Boston bank and the current ICBC bank.
I wanted to highlight them looking for some particular perspectives, including in the frames also the subway station and the streets wet by the rain, low angles and other aspects.
Me considero un fanático de los edificios antiguos, los estilos clásicos, neoclasicos, neogóticos y podría seguir mencionando algunos otros. Este tipo de edificios con estos estilos abundan en esta zona y para mí es un placer retratarlos, el edificio Bencich es uno de los que muestro en estás fotos, además del antiguo banco Boston y actual banco ICBC.
Quise resaltarlos buscando algunas perspectivas particulares, incluyendo en los encuadres también la estación de subterráneo y las calles mojadas por la lluvia, ángulos bajos y otros aspectos.
The following pictures are very interesting, if you can see in the first picture there is an old building in the middle of a modern one, while people walk along this street (Florida) some of them don't even realize what is above them, the history and the architecture and design work.
The second photo is special to me, I don't know why but it takes me back in time.... All the buildings shown there are all emblematic, more than 100 years old and it looks like a picture of yesteryear, obviously in color.
Las siguientes fotos son muy interesantes, si pueden observar en la primera foto se encuentra un edificio antiguo en medio de otro moderno, mientras las personas caminan por esta calle (Florida) alguno ni siquiera se dan cuenta de lo que hay arriba de ellos, la historia y el trabajo de arquitectura y diseño.
La segunda foto es para mí especial, no sé por qué pero me lleva al pasado... Todos los edificios que allí se muestran son todos emblemáticos, con más de 100 años de antigüedad y pareciera que fuese una imagen de antaño, obviamente a color.
Here we have 4 attractions that we can mention from left to right, a building of classical architecture, in the middle the main headquarters of the HSBC bank and on the right another of the Bencich buildings or part of it, in addition you can see one of the entrances of the Catedral station of the Buenos Aires subway.
Acá tenemos 4 atractivos que podemos mencionar de izquierda a derecha, un edificio de arquitectura clásica, en medio la sede principal del banco HSBC y a la derecha otro de los edificios Bencich o parte de éste, además de puede apreciar una de las entradas de la estación Catedral del subterráneo de Buenos Aires.

I had a look at your photos and you're crazy good! You have a very good eye for certain things. I love how you frame the photos, how you choose where to focus, what subjects you prefer to photograph and how to choose the tone of the photos. Your work is exceptional! What you do is what I'd like to focus on, just need time and find the conditions.
I loved what you did with the reflections. Unfortunately rain is a rare asset around here, but autumn is here, so I hope to catch some wet days soon and look for some proper puddles as there are not many where I live 😅

I'll definitely try to work on reflections, if rain comes, when rain comes. Till then, I think it would be great to find a location with great architecture, where I can find some puddles too 😁. Tough job, but nothing is impossible. I can learn a lot from you 😏
