Boudoir Session w/ Brenda

DSC_0401.jpg

Since I ventured into portrait photography, more specifically boudoir photography, sensual photography, or whatever you want to call it, I have had the pleasure of meeting many people, photographer friends, and of course models with whom I have worked on group and individual productions. Today, I am pleased to share with you the second part of a reunion with Brenda. Some of you may recognize her, others...

We worked together over a year ago on an exclusive shoot, and after so much time, we have come together again for another project on the same theme but in a location quite different from the previous one.

Last time, I rented an old, classic mansion with different rooms and spaces. This time, I wanted to do it in a modern apartment with a beautiful view in the city center. Although this series does not show those views, the ones to come will.

Something that caught my attention about the place was that it was almost all white. It was the first time I would work on a set like this and a good opportunity to get out of my comfort zone.

Brenda brought several outfits to the venue and there were many more left to try on.

I'm not sure what happened during that year but when we returned to work everything was different, better and more enjoyable. Maybe because we built trust and broke the ice, we made a very good atmosphere and the ideas just flowed.

I always try to be near a window for entry and use of natural light, even if I use flash. Another reason is that it looks great in the background, and with the views I mentioned earlier, you can clearly understand what I'm talking about.

We took some close-up shots, used some of the furniture we had in the apartment, and ended up with a lot of ideas in the air. We agreed to conclude everything we had planned to do in a future session and obviously in a different location.

What do you think about this work, style and results? If you liked it, don't hesitate to leave me a comment about it :)
