Capture a Moment at the Traditional Market 📷 Monomad Challenge
I like to linger in traditional markets, besides shopping for necessities at my stall—I use them as a place for healing and photography. We meet a variety of people here, and they're probably familiar faces when I take out my smartphone to capture a moment.
This is a very different story from the first time I tried photography at the market. They seemed uncomfortable, as if they didn't want their phone to take their picture. I've now gotten used to mingling with them first. I make them as comfortable as possible, and they appear natural and unassuming in front of the camera.
Usually, when I approach them, I often buy some of the merchandise they're selling. It's not too expensive, but I use this interaction between buyers and sellers to create future moments. So, I'm now comfortable in the market when I want to photograph them.
I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
In this Monomad Challenge contest, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos caught by my camera; "Capture a Moment at the Traditional Market", the pictures presented to my friends in Black and white Community 😉
