Landour trip, a place that feels like a dream🗻
After finishing the Dalai Hills part of the trip in Mussoorie, the next plan was simple: ride up to Landour for a calm day in the hills. We rented bikes from the hostel itself and took the quiet road up, surrounded by cool air, light mist, and a dense pine forest on both sides.
Landour sits right next to Mussoorie and feels like the same mountains, just slower and more peaceful. Landour’s first impression is calm old cottages, crisp air, and fewer honks. If aesthetics were a city, that would be called landour. We parked the bikes and started the Infinity Walk, an easy loop that moves past bends, trees, and wide views without any rush. It felt good to walk without a checklist and let the place set the pace.

Our first stop was Kellogg Memorial Church, a quiet old church. We sat there for half an hour, listened to the silence, clicked some photos and moved on.

Our Next stop was Landour Bakehouse in Sisters Bazaar, but the queue there was long and it was a bit overcrowded.

So we ended at Chaar Dukan near St. Paul’s Church, where pancakes are the local favorite. Hot, fluffy, and gone fast, no doubt the best pancakes I've had in a long time.

By the time we headed back, the roads were still quiet, with fresh air , and the valley looked calm

It was a simple day with short rides, short walks, good food, and soft weather. Landour felt friendly and peaceful from start to finish.
If you hop by Mussorrie in the future, make sure to keep Landour in the list.
