Travel Contest #171 Skies - my entry "To reach for the skies with one's hand"

Hello everybody,

the photo "To reach for the skies with one's hand" is my entry for the Travel Contest No. 171 with the topic "Skies".

The photo was taken during a city trip to Salzburg and shows a statue of a pair of statues in the baroque Mirabell Gardens. The second photo also shows such a statue. In total there are two pairs of this statues in the park.

They are copies of the famous ancient sculpture of the so-called "Borghesian Fencer" (also "Borghese Gladiator").

das Foto "Die Hand zum Himmel ausstrecken" ist mein Beitrag für den Travel Contest Nr. 171 mit dem Thema "Skies".

Das Foto entstand während eines Städtetrips in Salzburg und zeigt eine Statue eines Statuenpaares im barocken Mirabellgarten. Auch das zweite Foto zeigt eine solche Statue. Insgesamt gibt es im Park zwei dieser Statuenpaare. Es handelt sich um Kopien der berühmten antiken Skulptur des sogenannten "Borghesischen Fechters".
