Reflection Hunters Contest round 114 - my Entry "Reflections on tabletops"
Hello friends of reflections,
the first photo is my photo entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest Round 114 and shows "Reflections on tabletops".
The beautiful baroque garden pavilion of Melk Abbey in Lower Austria is famous for the Bergl frescoes.
The murals, including allegories of the four continents of Europe, Asia, Africa and America, depict paradise-like scenes of groups of people with exotic plants and animals.
The depictions in frescoes, stucco, paintings and sculptures manifest the Baroque attitude to life and are an earthly counterpoint to the otherwise spiritually dominated character of the monastery.

das erste Foto ist mein Foto-Beitrag in der Reflection Hunters Contest Runde 114 und zeigt "Reflexionen auf Tischplatten".
Der wunderschöne barocke Gartenpavillon des Stifts Melk in Niederösterreich ist bekannt für die Bergl Fresken. Die Wandmalereien, darunter Allegorien der vier Kontinente Europa, Asien, Afrika und Amerika zeigen paradiesisch anmutende Szenen von Personengruppen mit exotischen Pflanzen und Tieren. Die Darstellungen in Fresken, Stuck, Gemälden und Skulpturen manifestieren das barocke Lebensgefühl und sind ein irdischer Gegenpol zum sonst geistlich dominierten Charakter des Klosters.
