STREET ART #253 – Another decorated building at L'Aventure du Sucre, Mauritius
There is one more buiding at L'Aventure du Sucre, that has got wonderful paintings. As far as I know, all of the works on all the buildings was part of a project initiated by L'Aventure du Sucre ( Museum in an old sugar factory). My two previous posts shows the other buildings where artists have done a great job. This building is seperate from the museum / factory building. A sign by the door tells that this is where the adminestration has there office.
The artist is Brian Lamoureux. After what I have managed to find out, then he is Mauritian, who both paints and makes beautiful black & white skethes. Most of the motives are buidings and every day life. Just like this wall.
The wall shows dense vegetation and people engaged in activities in the garden: sugar canes, flowers and palmtrees. Adults and children going on with everyday activities among this lush vegetation.Plants and trees are big compared to the humans. Maybe they have good growing conditions. In any case, there are someone here, who seem to take loving care of everything. Also notice the birds hiding around. A carefree existence in a lush universe.
