STREET ART #228 – A new murals and some painted a few years ago in Kristiansand, Norway

As always, there are murals I haven't seen in my city. Some of these I have not seen before. The two power boxes were found completely by chance. Occasionally I am lucky enough to see an artist in action and thus get the opportunity to follow the process. Once again I have followed the process of Sedin Zunic. He has done an amazing job on the wall by the entrance to our municipal swimming pool.

The artist behind this piece painted on a concrete wall of an old, neclected building, is Vlekart. He is one of our most wellknown artists and from Kristiansand. He is also one of the most active. I have already done many posts with his work. I belive he painted this one during the Covid-19 pandemic. I think I saw him post it on Instagram, but it was first recently I passed it by accident.
The first photo also shows work by Vlekart. I am sure when it was painted, but I have passed it a couple of times. There used to be a petrol station behind the pillar on which it is painted. Today the station is gone, but the pillar is still here, because it is supporting a bridge. I quess this small painting will be around for some time.

These two are painted on small, electric power boxes. The artist is Panther, a Norwegian stencil artist. There are several works around town by Panther. All on power boxes.

Sedin Zunic is the artist. Just like Vlekart, he is one of most active and well-known local artists. I have been lucky to follow the process. He has done this wall at the entrance of Aquarama, which is a sport center, containing swimmingpool, sport centers etc. He wants his painting to convey a symbol of unity, diversity and community. Both among the people and all the activities taking place in the building.

He completed his work only a short while ago. On photos in local news, I read that he has spend 5 weeks working on it. The final product is definitive beautiful.

So lovely. Artists probably took a long time to finish such works.
You are right. It's a huge mural
