STREET ART #222 – Beautiful art in Nørresundby, Denmark

In Nørresundby, located north of Aalborg, Denmark you will find this beautiful mural. The signature on the mural is Telmo Miel. From what I know this is a duo, This is not the first mural in this neighborhood. Telmo Miel has done a couple of other murals in Aalborg. This work is named «Tilsammen« which in English means Together». You will find it in the back yard behind Nordjyske Bank, who are the ones who took the initiative for the project. It has also been part of the street art prosject «Out in the Open» arranged by KIRK Gallery in Aalborg.

This work is a piece that not only literally, but also symbolically brings people together. The choice of colors adds warmth to these hands holding each other together. Telmo says himself that "Together" literally refers to the meaning of "being together". It makes sense if you think about how you approach being together or together as in a larger whole. With this piece «Tilsammen», he shows us the direction towards community
