📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography #184 : Amazing wildlife

This is a Fur Seal found on the Santiago island, which is one of the island in the Galapagos archipelago. The place ie Puerto Egas. These seals are endemic to these Pacific islands. Around 1970, it was estimated that there was a population of about 30,000 seals, but their numbers have been declining. It is not entirely certain why, but it may be due to environmental factors. The Fur Seal also has a limited range. It is a protected species. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest https://ecency.com/@photofeed/photofeed-contest-wildlife-photography-round-184
