PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography #74 : The city of Mandalay seen from the top of Mandalay Hill
The photo shows part of Mandalay, one of Myanmar's largest cities. The place where I stand is Mandaly Hill. At the top you will find Mandalay's most prominent temple Sutaungpyei. The building in the foreground is part of the temple. To get here you have to climb 1,729 steps. But luckily the stairs are covered so you are protected from the sun.
