This photo was taken in the city of Braga, which is located in northern Portugal. It is only a little more than an hour to get there by car from Porto. This city was an outpost in the Roman Empire long ago. It's an old city with a history that goes back at least 2000 years. There are lots of beautiful buildings, churches and religious site.
