Landscape Photography : El Tatio Geyser Field

avatar

This photo was taken at sunrise at the El Tatio Geyser Field in the Atacama desert, Chile. This field consist of aprox. 80 geysirs. This makes it the third largest in the world and the largest on the southern hemisphere. Because it is locted at more than 4.000 meters above sea level, it was freezing cold that early in the morning. But to see the sun rise to the sound of «boiling» water and the steem that field the air was a spectacular sight.
