On my way home today, I saw this beautiful scarlet jungle flame, also known as the Ixora flower, and I could not resist the urge to snap it. This flower is not just beautiful but also beneficial to humans; it is used in traditional medicine to treat diseases such as dysentery, fever, and colic.

What! Is it medicine? Wow, I'm shocked, to say the least.
I used to pluck the flower and suck the juice out from it when I was little just for fun.
