I've always liked contemporary dance, because I think it's a way of expressing emotions and feelings through movement. So when I heard that there was a dance show inspired by kpop, I didn't hesitate to buy a ticket. Kpop is a musical genre originating in South Korea, which combines elements of pop, hip hop, rock and other styles. And it is something that fascinates me a lot because of the variety and energy of its songs and choreographies.

I took my semi-professional camera with me, intending to take some pictures of the show. However, I soon realised that the lighting was constantly changing, and the dancers were moving very quickly. If I set the shutter speed too low, the images were blurred. If I set the shutter speed too high, the images came out dark. I couldn't find the right balance.

The result was disastrous.(lol) The photos came out blurry, dark or overexposed. There were many photos that I loved when I took them, but when I got home and looked at them more closely on my computer I discovered that they had turned out horribly. I was very frustrated and disappointed. But I searched through the hundreds of photos I had taken and found a few that were still salvageable. I immediately ran to my trusty friend Photoshop and started editing like there was no tomorrow. In the end, after much suffering, I managed to develop these photographs, which although they were not bad, I feel that they could have resulted in a better work.

Even so, this experience didn't stop me from enjoying the event that counted with a lot of talented dancers from many states and that undoubtedly made me fall in love and encouraged me to want to attend a next presentation.
