ah! I lived in Telford for a chunk of my youth, my dad was a foreman at the BlistHill Open air Museum.
and, in October, we're staying in Ironbridge for a week. I intend to bore the family stiff with childhood memories, including showing them the place I had my first job.
Yea my partner is from Shrewsbury so we looking at moving there was going to be this year but looks like next year now to move I’m from London so I don’t know the area that well but ironbridge is nice and Shrewsbury 👍🏼
I've also lived in Shrewsbury.
It's in a dip on the edge of the Cheshire plain & the air is damp a lot of the year. I still have a chest issue from consecutive months in consecutive years of chest infections.
that being said, loads of history.
But you'll probably get more house for money in Telford.

I’m not keen on Telford to be honest it’s a bit like Birmingham and I hate Birmingham.
My partners brother lives in Madeley not far from Ironbridge and we went to the Telford shopping Center once or twice.
I would like to move abroad maybe America or Spain eventually but we see if can make enough money to retire and live comfortably.
