Hi and welcome to DEVOSDEVOSI photography if you are new to my blog then welcome to you and I hope you enjoy my post and welcome back to you if you are a follower of my work.
This set of 5 edits is taken from a portfolio and social media shoot I had done with this model in my London studio The images shown in this post are called FEELING LUCKY as Edited them in this slightly off colour they are black and white but not really black and white maybe a tea stained colour or sort of a sepia colour . when I was messing around with the edits I did start them of in black and white but then decided to do a slightly different style and I came up with this action that I applied to the images for a change to the normal black and white style.
LOOKING AT ME ?
This shot was taken on the leather sofa in the studio in London as a portrait shot for the model as we wanted to make her portfolio varied .
DRY BATH
This second shot was a dry bath shot with oil over the model to make her shine but in this edit the oil does not really show up as it does in the colour edit I done in this image.
IM THE CIGARETTE YOUR THE SMOKER
This edit I have a few edits one in colour and one in black and white and this one we had done a few shots for the smoking shoot all in colour and black and white this shot was taken sitting on a chair in the London studio with the model smoking .
BODY BATH
This shot was also taken in a dry bath with the model posing as I stood on both sides of the bath balancing on the edge as I shot down on to the model. I also have a colour and black and white edit from this set as well.
ON THE RUG
This shot was shot on a rug shooting lowdown with the model in this see-through body bending over this shot I also have a colour and black and white edit of that was used in the models portfolio was the colour version.

Only a small handful of photography on this subject I see being posted hopefully more will join and share there content.
In Hive there are no communities that have initiatives for this type of photography. I hope that soon a moderator will propose a challenge that encourages the participation of more photographers like you.
Maybe @castleberry could set up a challenge on this subject and others I dont know if thats a thing ? obviously there is the hotshots thats great.
Nude and Fine Art photography, which would cover many other genres, are more than welcome here in the community when tastefully done. Unfortunately, from what i have seen over the years... all the nude photography in communities, tends toward the porn side of things rather than the art side of things.
I think it's the exploiters that have somewhat ruined this style of photography for many on Hive. I have been thinking of getting some contests rolling in the future, as we have done in the past, and nude photography would probably just generically be fit into portrait category.
I will have to give it some thought, but i am glad you both are discussing. We need the few that do practice with skill and class in this style of photography to set the bar high on how they create and present their content and pave the way for others.
Most of the nude photography i have seen posted is either plagiarism or doesn't have much quality content surrounding it and just leans on the subject matter to get rewarded. So, i would encourage all photographers, no matter what style, to put forth their best efforts in their shots and constructing their posts.

Yes I agree a lot of stuff I have seen is taken strait of sites and just posted on hive to what effect im not quite sure as they dont own or post even anything about the image that has been ripped of a site And as you say as well its normally hardcore pornographic content not of any artistic value. I have done some open leg nude etc images but I dont post really on hive as I dont think it goes down well maybe topless is ok sometimes with the NSFW tag I post.
A contest in the future would be great for like art nude / glamour / nsfw

Those that did that stuff kind of ruined it a bit for people on the fence. But, i think when real skill and talent come together and clear effort is put into the content, it will stand out and make the artistic statement that was intended.
For me, frontal nudity is fine... just nothing too explicit. If there is direct genitalia, male or female, i would throw on the NSFW tag just for safe measure. We will see what happens with the contests. There are some ideas brewing that will lead to action in the near future. Cheers
