#Monomad Challenge: Vanishing Points

Vanishing Points

DSCF08642.jpg
Say hi to Mr. Cat.

In photography and art, guiding lines are useful tools. They help guide the your eyes to a specific path. They can be literal lines, or they can be visual elements like rows of trees, roads, or of shadows that lead the eye to a focal point or a desired subject.

Here are a few photographs I took showing that effect. Or at least trying to show it.

A not so busy avenue.

DSCF0837.JPG
A quiet stroll.

Bikes on a roll.

DSCF0819.JPG
A guardian in the distance.

The one above is a fave on this set as there's a subject in the distance, right in the middle. The one below is the uncropped version of the first photo in this set. I even left my food at the nearby McDonalds just to get a shot of this handsome fella.

The cat again in an uncropped photo.

Bonus: Framed

DSCF0834.JPG
A giant from afar.

A lonely giant from afar, framed by these trees and the fence in the foreground. I think this is big water tank but I'm not sure if they still fill this up, been seeing this thing for decades.

Thank you! Till the next #monomad post!
