Step-By-Step Tutorial- Envelope Maker

I have been making greeting cards for a gift shop for some time now. However, the biggest problem for me was finding envelopes that match both in colour and size.
This simple Envelope Punch board solved that problem for me. Not only I can make the envelopes I need, but the material cost me much less than before.
The envelope maker can be used to make gift boxes and paper decorations.
With the front of the board, you can make cards and boxes and with the back of the board, you can make and fold envelopes.

There is a reference chart and guide on the backside of the board which explain everything. You need to look for the finished size envelope you'd like to make, and the chart specifies what size to cut your paper and where to align it along the ruler to make the first score line.

I often use these dimensions because A4 format paper is enough for it, and it can be found in a wide variety of colours and designs. You can also add small embossing shapes if you like, scratching above the design on the board.

• Align the paper with 8.8cm mark in this case, and score.

• Rotate the paper 90º Counter clockwise, align the score mark that you just made(1) with the Score tool and score again (2).
  

• Repeat this step two times.

Finally, fold and glue the envelope

The best thing is that you can use different types of paper. Recycle old paper, failed drawings and the like. You can draw on both sides or, if you have a printer, print a design.

Dimensions are not limited to those printed on the board itself. There is an app "Crafty Envelope Punch Board Calculator", with which you can add any dimensions and the application will calculate the paper dimensions and align marks.
