Exciting and adrenalin-packed mountain hike 🏔️
Greetings dear friends, I am quite excited because this week I did something special with my boyfriend, we went for a walk around the hills in the town called "El Consejo" located in the state of Aragua in Venezuela. This is my first post in the Wednesday Walk community and I'm very excited because I think it's great to show you this experience that I enjoyed so much.
I tell you that sometimes I spend several days visiting my boyfriend and he lives very high up in the mountains and I am a person who loves outdoor adventures, he has taken me for walks several times through the spaces here but we really had not done something as extreme as this week, where we went beyond the residence where he saw and went up to where humans do not live...
In the middle of the road, my boyfriend tells me that in the lower part of the mountain there is a short space with cement because, apparently, more houses were going to be built there but those projects were abandoned by the government and only that emptiness remained there, which I found it very mysterious and strange at the same time as interesting. Here I show you a little.
After that we went further up the mountain, I admit that I got nervous because sometimes when there are very high places I get vertigo, so I got tangled in some moments walking, my boyfriend had to give me his hand because I was really nervous, each time the road was higher and more complex.
Something interesting about this mountain is that it has a lot of clay and white quartz, I really liked to observe those incredible colors on the ground.
Last year it rained a lot all over this area, so big roads were made in a natural way where the water flows.
Almost reaching the top of the mountain there was a small and narrow floor through which I had to climb a little, it was complicated because the earth fell quickly with each step and slipped so I had to step quickly and accurately in order to be able to climb effectively.
After that I walked quickly to the top of our destination, where there was a large abandoned water tank, there we spent the rest of the day my boyfriend and I, you can see the whole town from the height we were.
Then we went back through the same place, we went down little by little but I admit that we were a little nervous because it was raining and I also saw a snake and we got scared hahaha! Here you can see me already relieved that we got away from that snake. When I got to the bottom I started to think that obviously that area, being lonely for humans, there are many wild animals that normally we would not observe down below.... I must say that it was an adrenaline experience and of course I had a second wind.
Thank you very much for reading me. See you soon!
it does look like such an exciting walk but quite breathtaking as well
Nice to have you join the Wednesday Walk
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk, Sorry last week was a bit rough for me and I not only did not get out for any walks, but also was not able to visit all the walks from last week, but feeling better this week and visiting posts again which is always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks
