White Widow Strain Review

This is a great one

White Widow is a pretty famous strain, but I have never had the pleasure to try it out until recently. My white widow plant finished drying on the 13th and it has been curing ever since.

White widow is a 60/40 sativa leaning hybrid that was created in the 90s by crossing a Brazilian sativa and a South Indian indica. It is a pretty potent strain that is covered in crystal trichomes.

One of the greatest aspects of growing your own cannabis is that you can control when you harvest the plant. I let this one go a bit longer so that it can get some more amber color in it. This gives a nice body balance with the head high.

The smell is a lot different than the other strains I have grown. It has a strong dank smell. It is earthy and has some hints of spice and pine. When I first started curing these buds, they had a sort of fart smell that has been going away as its true flavors have started to come out. I think in another few weeks, the true smell will really shine.

The effects of this strain are really nice. It isn't overpowering at all, which is something that I was worried of because it has a higher sativa content than what I have gotten used to. A few minutes after consuming it with my Volcano, a nice sense of ease and relaxation flooded my mind. This is always a welcoming feeling because it really quiets my brain and allows me to not worry about the small shit that people normally don't waste time worrying about.

This strain is not one for just sitting down after either because I got a nice jolt of energy, like a drank some coffee or an energy drink. It wasn't an overwhelming jolt of energy that gives you jitters either, but more of a kick in the ass to get out and do something.

So we went out on a walk. One of the first things that I noticed while we were out on a walk was that it seemed like I could hear everything a lot clearer, like my mind was quiet enough to take in all the sounds that I was hearing. It is kind of hard to explain, but even the stuff I could hear and not see, it was like I had spatial hearing and I could tell exactly how far things were away from me just by hearing it.

This would be a great strain for camping or hiking because it really connects you with nature and what is going on around you. I think it would be a fun strain to do some creative stuff, like take pictures or paint. I am glad that I have about six ounces of this one because I really enjoyed it and it is just going to get better as it cures.

As I was taking pictures, Rusty decided he wanted to jump on the table and get a good whiff of these pungent buds. Even he appreciates some top shelf cannabis. Overall, this is a great strain. It was pretty easy to grow and the buds are some of the best ones I have ever grown.

I can see why this is such a famous strain. If you deal with pain, anxiety or depression, White Widow is a perfect strain to medicate with and alleviate those symptoms. Cannabis can do wonders for people to get their lives back. We have been conditioned to think that pharmaceuticals are the only way, but it is nice to see that so many people are beginning to use more natural remedies.

Thanks man. They just keep getting better the longer they cure too. Can’t wait to have some more of it this weekend.
