White Widow
Yesterday, my white widow seedling started popping up through the dirt and then this morning when I woke up, I went to check on her and she was standing up tall and strong. I was a bit worried because last night before I went to bed, she still had the seed shell on and she was bent over from the weight. But I used some tweezers and carefully took the shell off and her tiny leaves began to open and now she is standing proud.
I got a pack of white widow seeds a long time ago. I think I got them when I ordered the purple lemonade seeds and they were thrown in there as freebies. I am going ot have to put my next order in with Seedsman because I have never had any issues with them germinating and they hook you up with a lot of freebies.
White Widow is a strain that I have never had, but I have heard the name a lot. It is one of the most famous cannabis strains and sounds like it will be an amazing strain to compliment the rest of the strains that I have.
It is a hybrid strain made from crossing a Brazilian Sativa and a South Indian Indica. It is a very potent strain and the buds get covered in resin. I can't wait for the later stages of flower with this one because it should take some amazing photos.
The effects sound really good as well. It is great for day time use because it is reported to give you energy to get up and get things done. That will be nice to have since a lot of my indicas are mainly for evening relaxation. It is a great strain for get togethers because it can make you talkative and it also can increase creativity while increasing focus.
This is going to be a really great strain to add to my stash. It should be ready for harvest in about four months from now. I plan on giving the AK47 and the White Widow about two months to grow and strech out before flipping the lights to flower. Depending on how many plants I have in the tent, I may end up using the scrog netting again. If I have another seed sprout up, I don't think I will use the scrog because three plants with the netting may end up getting tangled and turn into a hassle.
My AK47 seedling does not appear to be getting taller right now, but the stem is getting fatter. The leaves are a bit deformed as well, but I am wondering if that is due to a lower humidity level in the tent than the seedlings need. To combat this, I moved the humidifier inside the tent. Hopefully as the seedling grows and sprouts new branches and leaves, those ones begin to look more normal. This grow so far has really been testing my patience because of all the issues with germination. I am ready for winter to end so that temperatures can warm up a bit and be a bit more stable in the grow room.

Wow I can now see the picture of Ak47 it looks like a beautiful flower 🌹, are they going to grow into big trees?
They will probably grow to be about two and a half feet tall before they will be ready for harvest. Hopefully they each grow about 4-5 ounces of cannabis buds on them too.
Ohhhh really, so in the next few months they will be ready for harvest?
Ya, it should be about 4 months from now.
Wow I can't wait to see how they look like during harvest ☺️
So happy to see your seeds are showing their heads finally :)
For real. This grow has been pretty stressful right out the gate. Hopefully these babies don't have any other issues.
The old classic White Widow!
looking strong...
didn't know that :)
I was had one lady outdoors back in 2008 :) She kind of survivor living her first sensitive month under terrible conditions, somewhere else, indoors, behind the window in very dark winter days and in a moldy room :)
Then I've transplanted it twice - outdoors & she survived very well till late August :) remaining short and bushy as she needs to be! (somewhere i have a picture)
This is also true! very uplifting & focused, creative high! ;) All my friends loved it, cause it was still rare over here... and i think still is...
Nice. I am looking forward to this one.
