Vegas has so many street photography opportunities

Las Vegas is such a great place for practicing street photography. There is always something interesting to capture. For every 10 photos, I probably got one decent looking one.
This was probably because I was trying to be discreet about taking photos and would just hold my camera at chest height and try and frame everything up and it took a while to get good at it.
One thing to remember when shooting like this is to make sure you have your focus points set up right because you wont be looking into the camera to focus. So make sure you have your focus point set to cover the widest area possible so that your photos are sharp. The only downside to doing it like that is that the camera focuses on whatever is closest.
One thing I really like about street photography is that you have to move and adapt to it. If you are trying to get a shot, but notice something in a different area and you turn to get a shot of that, you need to be quick with making adjustments to your shutter speed and aperture so that you dont miss your shot. I really enjoy shooting like this when you have to make a bunch of on the fly adjustments. If you are shooting in an automatic mode, you wont have to worry about any of that, but you also lose a lot of the freedom and artistic expression that shooting in manual mode offers.
Hopefully you enjoyed these images. I am testing out some of the new features of Liketu and their new mobile app for posting. They are hoping to have a completed version of the app ready by Hive Fest. Hopefully I can help them to get some of the bugs worked out because once this app is completed, it is going to be pretty awesome for Hive because it will make it a way easier way for people to connect to the Hive blockchain and share.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like it's allowed to photograph people on the street and thats cool - here in germany it's not allowed to shoot single walking, sitting etc. persons.
Wow, that is weird. Here in the US, you can take photos in public and it isn't a big deal. Unless people are taking inappropriate photos, that is a whole different story. I am glad you liked these shots.
Excellent images my general... It's great how you can configure the camera settings to get good images like the ones you show here, even though you've taken them from chest height, they've come out pretty sharp. Looking at them at first I thought you had used some filter to blur the background, but then as I read on I realized it's a default thing with the settings you used. Anyway, the photos you have taken look excellent 😎
Greetings and blessings, hope you and your family are doing well.
Thanks man. Ya, that blur is from my lens and the aperture I use. I don't use any filters or anything with my photos.
Great... I don't know much about photography, but I do know when to appreciate good work
Thanks homie
Your photos are realistic !
The first photo... is from other side of the strip?
It is a small shopping strip mall right in the middle of the Vegas strip.
Oh! Electric wires are exposed. So unusual!
Anyway, I like your photos, as always!!!

So beautiful photography. I haven't go there but I want to go there, soon. Great Photography! 💯
Hopefully you can one day. It is a lot of fun.
Holy shit, first one looks like out of a movie or series
That's what the whole strip looks like. It is pretty cool.
A mobile app at last!!
It's almost ready. Still working out a few bugs.
Looks very cinematic, i like it how you capture the moment.👍
Can't wait for the App! 😭
Vegas is really the perfect place. I've been trying to get into this street photography thing, but where I am right now is not really conducive to it. Still, if I can find 10 good photos, I'm thinking of participating in your contest.
