Trying to get back to normal

The world continues to turn

The tragic loss our family has suffered this past week has really left a whole in all of our hearts, but we are all trying to get back to our routine.

The day before he passed, my daughter and I had a photo shoot for a group of kids going to prom. It was one of the largest groups I have ever taken photos of and I am glad that my daughter was there to help.

It was also our first photo shoot we have done together. We have talked about doing shoots together and it was a huge success. Before we started, we let everyone know that Addie will be the one to direct everyone and do all of the posing and my main focus is getting candid shots and posed shots from different angles that she was getting.

I am hoping that my daughter shares the images that she got during this shoot because she did so good. She is really looking forward to starting college and learning more about photography.

This photo shoot was a really great experience for the both of us because we learned that we could manage a large group of people and get some really great photos in the process.

We have a wedding in Wyoming that we were hired to photograph and I was a bit nervous to do it, but with how this shoot turned out, I am sure my daughter and I are going to do great. We have a few more shoots coming up and we will get more practice working as a team.

One fun aspect of this shoot was there were so many personalities and they had some pretty fun ideas. Like the photo above where they wanted to act like Cinderella trying on her glass slippers. This kid was really excited about his Yeezy's and wanted them to be his glass slippers. I think they are some of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen and I don't know why anyone would want to spend $400 on them.

Overall, this was a really fun shoot and I can't wait to see where my daughter and I go in photography as a team.

Your loss is so big we can't measure your emotions for departed souls. I hope, everything will get normal for you and your family soon. Photography is a fun when we are able to save our memories effectively. I 'm also learning about its many aspects. I hope, I shall be a good photographer like you soon 😂.

I hope you continue to learn and improve your photography skills. The only way to get better is to do it as much as you can.

That's the spirit! I'm always nervous when a photo shoot is coming up, but my fear pushes me forward! Life is a gift, as you said, enjoy it, remember the people you lost and turn them into stepping stones to reach higher goals. When you are down, remember that many people around you are in the worst condition but still don't give up and move on.

Sorry for your loss. Whenever a person leaves the world, it takes a long time for the rest of the people to get into the routine because that is the only thing that comes to mind. Those who leave can never come back, we all have to fend for ourselves.

Very awesome to be able to work with one of your kids! I know she will do great in photography as she has a great mentor! Very cool bro!

It's never easy to get back to normal, man. I did it after the earthquake and it took me a long time to get back to my old self. Still, I think things will get better with time. The photos are great and I'm sure everyone there had a lot of fun. I agree with you about those shoes. You can buy 20 pairs of shoes for 400 dollars here and they will all be better than that.
