The Ukrainian team is full of badasses
I met some pretty incredible people during the firefighter challenge, but the Ukrainian team is probably the most memorable of all the competitors there. These people are incredibly strong and despite the hardships that their friends and families were going through back home, they were some of the most compassionate people there.
I wasn't able to see the finals, but I am sure these guys and gals did an amazing job. I am sure they are ready to get back home and get back to helping in their communities. I am glad that they were able to make it here for the competition and get a break from the stresses of war that their homeland is experiencing right now.
On the first day of the competition, I couldn't help but think about what they must be experiencing knowing that their cities were being attacked and there are so many people that need help there. I am glad that they were here and able to represent their departments and country during this world wide event. These men and women are true heroes and I will never forget their sacrifices they have made. I hope they make it home safely and things calm down in their part of the world.

All this war nonsense should end and these people should be able to do their work without thinking about it. I'm sure when they are here they are always thinking about what they are in their own countries.
They look great by the way. They might have won the competition.
Hopefully Things will calm down for them and they can just focus on doing their jobs and not worry so much about the safety of their countrymen.
Hoping for the best for them and their home.

Our firefighters are true heroes for us. Unbreakable, tireless and very brave. Although in life they look like ordinary people. In my thoughts, I thank them every day for their work.

This silly war is driving many people crazy, truly these men and women have shown mental strength to be able to do this event and keep fighting until the end, hopefully this war problem will calm down and they will be able to work
