Our daughter just had her senior prom
Where has the time gone? It seems like my daughter was just starting high school, but she just had her senior prom and now she is getting all registered for college. Life goes so fast...
Our daughter's school has had problems in the past during the dances, so they put a bunch of rules in place for people that want to attend prom. They required the students to have above a 3.5 GPA and everyeone attending has to be a current student of the school as well. So my daughter and her friend were not able to bring their significant others to the dance, so they just went together and had a blast.
My daughter has had a rough time during school the past few years, so I am glad that she was able to go to her prom this year and have such a good time. She was worried that something might happen because at the previous dances, kids were getting into fights, cutting girl's hair off during dances and just being stupid. So I am really glad that nothing like this happened at this dance. I would hate for her prom to get ruined by some loser kid.
Time goes too fast. While it sucks that my kids are getting older, it is amazing to see them flourish into adults. I can't wait to see what they do with their lives from here. Raising adults is the next challenge for my wife and I. I think we have done a great job at giving them a foundation for their lives, and all we can do from here is support and guide them for the future.

My wife and I just barely watched that movie again. Now we need to watch part two. It is so much different watching those movies as an adult that is going to be dealing with our little girl moving onto the next part of her life.
Dude, these are some gorgeous shots and it's so awesome to see the young lady she has grown to become! I feel old considering where i joined this journey. I'm glad she looks so happy and healthy, and that covid didn't ruin this monumental moment in her life... even if the lame ass rules did. I never knew grades were connected to how well you can dance. smh Either way, awesome shots of some happy moments and the happiness definitely translates!

Thanks man. Prom is usually a big deal in high school. Back when I was younger, I wasn't a fan of dances, but I still tried to go and see all my friends at them.

It's crazy how time flies dude.. The crazy thing for me is that I have a 26 year old son with a 1 year old daughter, and I also have a little boy who's almost 3. Where the hell did the time go?
That’s crazy man. I had no idea you had a son that old. It won’t be long before I am a grandpa too. At least we are cool old people.
Haha, growing old is scary but fun in some ways. I get way calmer and more thoughtful as I age.

These photos look so professional and I'm begging to think it's a camera shoot. Being a lover of high school movies I have always wanted to expirences prom but my country doesn't seem to celebrate one and so it all faded away as I graduated. Seeing their beautiful smile makes me think I should make sure my kids get to expirences one when it's time even if it requires relocating (as it as always been on my to do list in life)
