Not the best luck lately

My cannabis grow has been off to a pretty rocky start. I took a break from growing over the past six months or so, and when I tried getting back into it about a month and a half ago, things did not go according to plan.

Granddaddy Purple Photoperiod

My first attempt at growing again resulted in me being too impatient and I ended up overwatering the seedlings. I started some new seeds and those ones, I ended up roasting with way too much light because the light meter app I was using required a diffuser, which I did not have at the time. Then I started a third set of seeds and those ones were suffering the same fate as the previous set of seedlings. Luckily, I caught it in time and was able to reduce the light intensity and raise my lights up and once I got the light meter app working, those seedlings started to recover.

Northern Lights Autoflower

The Northern Lights and GDP are the ones that were suffering due to light stress, but as you can see, they are doing so much better. I am not sure how big the Northern Lights will get since it is an autoflower and the first week or two was spent under sever stress, so hopefully it be able to make a full recovery and produce some great weed.

OG Kush Photoperiod

I wasn't sure if the Northern Lights and the GDP were going to make a recovery when I fixed the lighting, so I had started an OG Kush photoperiod and that seems to be doing great as well. I am excited for this strain because I have never grown it before. I did try this strain while I was visiting Oregon and loved it, so it will be cool to be able to have a large stash of it on hand.

I am glad that I was able to figure out the mistakes I was making with my plants. It has been a frustrating past two months because of this. I am going to be excited when these plants get out of the seedling stage because it seems my plants have been stuck at this stage for the past two months. Luckily the Northern Lights and GDP are already bigger than any of the seedlings I had in the past two months, so it wont be much longer until I am getting things ready for flower.

Things will start to progress pretty quickly and before I know it, I will be bending branches down and strengthening the branches to hold up the weight of all those sweet buds that they will produce.

Granddaddy Purple Photoperiod

I am excited to get past the seedling stage and see how different these three plants are going to look. With the Northern Lights being autoflowering, I am going to be trying to figure out the best time to flip my lights for flower for the OG Kush and GDP. I want to give the Northern Lights as much time under the 18hrs of light that I can, but I think that during the last two or three weeks of flower for it, I will be switching the lights for 12/12 to induce flowering of the other two plants.

It is going to get exciting in the tent soon and I can't wait. It feels like it's been almost an entire year since my last harvest. It is nice to be growing again. It will be even more nice once I have a large stash of fresh cannabis.
