Fine art photography of cannabis
If you know me, you know I love photography and cannabis. So I have decided that I am going to be putting together a fine art book with some of the photos I have taken of the cannabis I have grown over the years. This book is going to be a bit different than the normal pictures I share about cannabis. It is going to be more of an artistic view of the plant.
Cannabis is one of the coolest plants I have ever seen. Each plant can look totally different one another based on the strain you are growing. There are over 700 different strains of this amazing plant and each one has different characteristics from the others.
I am not sure how long I will be working on this book and if it will just end up being a book for my home only or if I will plan on trying to sell it anywhere. I hope that you enjoy some of the photos I am going to be putting in my book. I really like the way that the black and white photos of this plant looks. Cannabis has been used for tens of thousands of years and the black and white gives it a timeless feel.

I love all of your photography, but personally, I've always thought that your cannabis photography is better than most "professional" cannabis photographers, and that you could should be taking pictures for High Times!

Thanks man. One of the best things about taking photos of cannabis is that you don't have to deal with people. I've looked at some of the High Times photos and they aren't the greatest. I need to look into submitting stuff to them. That would be awesome to get published there.
That is very true! I know your not antisocial by any means, but that would make it a little easier! Unless of course you did start taking pictures for other companies or something like that haha. But that's what is awesome about growing your own, you can get all the best photos from the comfort of your home! 💚
And yes I agree! While some of them are good, you can tell they aren't the best from a professional photographer! It wouldn't hurt to ask if they accept public submissions! With your skills, I wouldnt think it would be too hard!

I was literally thinking this while writing my response to this post. High Times would be bullshitting if they said your photos aren't good enough. You should see about getting some submissions into their magazine. I would subscribe to their subscription if they did, plus it might put some shine on the blockchain...

Recently (that's what I've been able to follow) you've developed yourself a lot in cannabis and I think it's a great decision. I hope you will put your book on sale or at least post about it here. I don't think I can buy it since such things are not legal in my country, but I can support you to increase the sales. I feel that such things snowball, that is, no one wants to buy a book that sells 10 copies, but when they see that 1000 copies are sold, they are more interested in buying it.

Indeed photography and cannabis go together nicely, and in my opinion you take some of the best macro photos on the chain and off. You really take some of the nicest photos in worldly existence, no question about it.
