Construction of a massive resort

On the way down to Vegas last week, my wife and I stopped outside of St George, UT, where my wife's work is in the process of building a new massive project called Black Desert Resort. The resort is going to have a full 18 hole golf course, permanent vacation housing, standard hotel style accommodations, and a bunch of shops and places to eat.
It is pretty cool to see something this big being built and I am sure I will be traveling down several more times to take photos of the process. It is a 500 million dollar project that will take a couple years to complete and spans over 600 acres.
One of the coolest parts about this whole thing is the location. It is located in an area that is surrounded by beautiful red rock landscaping. It looks so cool against the blue sky. The golf course is surrounded by really cool looking black rocks, which is where it gets its name from. I can't wait to see how this project progresses over the next few years. It is going to be an amazing resort when it is completed.

That's a lot of money being spent on that project and won't be able to wait for the final result of construction - definitely will take years
Tho, you've captured so beautiful pictures especially the cinematic touch in them looks so good!
Would love to see more.
Have fun!
Thanks. I am sure I will be down there every few months getting progress shots.
That's a fine location for awesome photoshoot! Will wait for more.
Have a good day ahead!
Dude, I don't know if you've heard, but people in Turkey love to watch construction. If this construction was in Turkey I'm sure it would be watched more than Marvel movies lol.
lol. Why do people in Turkey love watching construction so much?
Idk but we just love it. I'll send you some pics via discord. You will laugh a lot 😂.
More cool stuff for rich folks, lol. Nice shots though.
Rich people aren't the only ones that go on vacations. Plus stuff like this brings in so much money to the areas they are built in, which helps the locals.
Oh for sure. But I certainly can't afford to vaca at a place like that, lol. Things like that are good for the local economy because it creates jobs and such.
I had to move to FL to think I was taking vacations on the weekends, lol. Believe me, I know the tourism life, lol. Worked in the service industry most of the time, haha.
I've been to Florida a couple times. I wouldnt mind going there and spending some time at the beach since I just spent the whole time at Disneyworld. The beaches would be way better than a day at Disney.
Well my grandmother used to say you are not in Florida until you hit the 18 mile stretch going from Homestead into the Keys, lol. I lived in Ft Myers for a long time too, good beaches on the gulf.
that is a big area indeed , big enough to host a hive fest in the future 😎
That would be cool to have Hivefest in the US one year, but this location is pretty far from any of the major airports, so it will be really hard for people attending to get there.
Golf course in dessert.... Ehhhh, we are near the end of humanity, I guess
Golf courses in desert settings is really nothing new.
