Backyard trippin with my homies

What an experience

Yesterday, I decided it was time for a mushroom trip. I haven't had a larger dose of mushrooms since New Year's and that was a life changing moment for me.

There are so many mental health benefits to psychedelic mushrooms. It can literally rewire your brain and create new neural pathways.

Mushrooms are a very important medicine that I have incorporated into my life. I have been microdosing for a few months now and I feel better than I have probably in my entire life.

So yesterday I took 2 grams, which is a lot more than a microdose, but not too much that it would incapacitate me for a while. I have read that 1.5-2 grams is a great amount for still being able to function, while still having a pretty good trip.

One of the coolest parts about the trip was the closeness that I feel with my pets. My wife and I have worked pretty hard on our backyard the past few years and it is cool how much out pets love hanging out back there.

Sophie has been really adventurous lately and loves to go outside. She even convinced Sammy to go out and explore as well. Sammy didn't stay outside too long though, but I was super proud of him for going outside for the first time. It is crazy that he is nearly 10 years old and has only been outside once. He has been hanging out around the door a lot today, so I think he had fun out there.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the pictures I took while tripping on shrooms with my little furbabies. You are awesome.

Didn’t know about the benefits of shroom for mental health, still it is nice to see growing a closer bound with the furbabies.

There are so many health benefits to not only magic mushrooms, but normal mushroom strains as well. Lion's Mane is a truly fascinating strain that can prevent so many diseases.

You can grow them quite easily given your prowess with the herb. Not sure you need as much as you could grow but at least then you can play with strains.

Micro dosing is SUPER useful with a number of psychedelics and it is finally making a real resurgence. Far far too many people, and most Vets, can benefit so much from directed psychedelic therapy but thanks to the "war on drugs" and "just say no" we have a 60 year span of society that has been denied the most effective forms of treatment.

I grew some golden teachers a couple years ago and got quite a bit from that first grow. I have plans on growing a few more strains. Mushrooms are fascinating and I can't wait to see the other health benefits that they can provide.

This is a wonderful treat I can see that you don't allow him to go out at all, it so amazing, you just allow your pet to go out once in ten years. It will be so strange to him.

It wasn't that we didn't allow him. He just never felt comfortable to go out there. We have taken our orange cats out for years. He just never wanted to explore until a few days ago.

Wooooooo! Sammy is nearly 10years old but had been outside once? He is a weirdo...lol! He must have been an introvert, lol! It's good to see Sophie giving him the vibes to go out and take some fresh air

He has always been suspicious of the outside world and didnt want anything to do with it. I think when he saw all the other animals going outside, he figured it was finally time for him to try it. He did like it and has gone outside since.

I tripped on 3.5g with my two Persian cats years ago. We connected in some big ways in those moments. I loved those cats. I've never tripped with a dog, I wonder how that would be or if they are just far less spiritual animals than cats.

It's been so long since I've tripped, it may be what I need soon though.

I am going to be planning on doing a big trip of 3-4 grams every six months. It is like a mental oil change. Since it has been so long since you tripped, I think it would be a great idea. Tripping with dogs is super awesome. My lab just laid next to me for a few hours while I was on the couch. Then when we got up and went outside, it was so fun being around all of the animals.

I think it's been far too long since I last did them. I can't even tell you exactly when it was, but at least 5 years ago. I did meet somebody who told me they always have them a few months ago, may need to reach out to her.

Now my twisted mind wonders... how would a dog or cat react to actually being on shrooms themselves. Would be crazy if they started talking or at least communicating telepathically.

Ya man, I would say you are due for a mushroom trip. Make sure to set an intention for the trip before you go in and do some meditations. Mushrooms are toxic to animals, so I dont think they will have a fun time at all. Our dog ate some mushrooms that grow in the backyard and his body started shutting down and he almost died. It was pretty scary.

It is wise to set intentions so that things don't spiral out of control. The environment has been one of the most important factors for me. I can't imagine tripping in public and having to deal with negative energy from other people or just other random things happening that I wasn't prepared for. It would be way too intense.

One of my favorite YouTube pranksters Vitaly actually got in some huge legal trouble and basically ruined his career because he was running around Miami on shrooms and freaked out for some unknown reason and ended up attacking a female jogger.

I'm glad your dog survived such an unfortunate incident.

Hmm
I just see that people plant and even eat mushrooms but I never knew how beneficial it is
Thanks for sharing this with us

Hello, the photos of the cats are very pretty, I would say that they are a wild species with their long hair. I didn't know this variety of mushroom, I don't believe there are any in my country.
Good week

It is a fact that they have many benefits on top of our health if we use them our health becomes much better and the way we see the result of your camera is very great and your catos looks so beautiful.

Wow, some of the photos of your cat make me amazed and I want to have one from this cat breed. I understand that here in my place it is very rare to have this type of cat 👍

Little tigers! Great captures, my friend. We have two cats similar to Sophie. Hard blue eyes shining out and a black head that reminds me of cappucine monkeys. Cheers
