I’m still very young. I have very few that I still call friends because over time, we may have drifted apart due to differences (and as young people our pride got in the way).
Friendship does matter and it is a everything. My mom is my friend which is why I’m comfortable talking to her about things that’ll make my mates shudder. She doesn’t judge me. She’s respectful of my boundaries and still reminds me who wears the hat 😅. But overall, I get what you’re saying in this post of yours. Friendship makes the rest easy.
