With the rise of the honey bees they can live alone or in groups, the center of this organization is the queen bee, the region of the whole hive, she is the one who brings harmony to the whole hive, in this short time of life they are the ones who travel 8 kilometers a day to produce the honey that helps them to survive in cold weather, pollen is essential for the bees and larvae, from flower to flower they pollinate the hives to keep the queens and the whole hive alive.

The mantis or grasshopper is a predator that is intelligent and ruthless, this ability of his eyes so large that it can detect their prey to set a trap for their victims and devour them in seconds. with their long potatoes strangle their prey, once captured are eaten by the head is where it starts, you can not survive his attack as it is planned since it sees you meters from where you are, their reproduction is quite a feat as you can be eaten by the female although this is not all the time or sometimes.

From the first moment insects can be cannibalistic their camouflages are perfect for ambushing their defenseless and small prey . The bees remain 21 days incubated in cells, their job is to protect the larvae and the hive, then they mate with the queens and fertilize. They master the art of building their honeycombs to perfection, many say they are instinctive.

They can fly up to 20 kilometers per hour and can fly in circles to orient themselves and reach their honeycombs. They can be very jealous and overprotective of their offspring and honeycombs, and can fight between queens with their legs and antennae.

Your pictures are really great!

However, the text doesn't always suit to the pics ... for example you are writing about honey bees between two photos of a chameleon (which by the way is not really an insect :-) ) and ants ...

The information you provide is interesting but some confirming sources would be nice.

A praying mantis (order Mantodea) is not a grasshopper (order Orthoptera).

Welcome to "Fascinating Insects"! :)
