Attending A National Summit of Lifestyles Philippines and Listening to the Success Stories of Successful Entrepreneurs is Worth Inspiring

Hello Philippines! Hello World! Good day! How's your life going on? I hope you're doing great every day despite the risk we faced in our day-to-day activities. As for me here, I'm struggling, but I'm always looking forward to a productive day all the time and living a life with contentment.

Today, I will share with you my own experiences and learnings in attending the Lifestyles Philippines National Summit 2023 at Summit Hotel, Robinsons Galleria, Cebu City last June 18, 2023.

When my husband was diagnosed with some complications specifically kidney stones, I let him try using Intra Juice because there were many testimonies that this product is good for health, especially in kidney stone formation. There's no harm in trying so I let my husband use it as his additional maintenance. At first, I ordered it online because it was cheaper. But somebody told me, that I must be very careful with my orders so as not to purchase the unauthentic one. With this, I'm planning to look for a distributor of the products until one time I am invited by my friend for dinner in their house during the Bogo town fiesta last May 27, 2023. She kept on calling me so we went to their house for dinner bringing my whole family.

When we were together, they were shocked upon looking at my husband's sudden weight loss. Therefore, I shared with them my husband's condition. I even told them about the use of intra-juice. I was surprised that they were an intra-juice distributor and luckily they still have available items left. Without any doubt, I purchased one box. She also invited us to attend a summit so that we can understand the product. Without hesitation, I committed my friend to join the Summit and purchased two tickets.

Even if we're very busy we attended the event since we already have the tickets. We departed home around 10:00 AM. We rode a bus and we arrived at the bus terminal near SM City at exactly 2:20 PM. We don't have lunch yet and were almost hungry. My husband and I agreed to have our lunch at the food court. This is our way also of celebrating fathers Day.

After eating, we proceeded to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed that there were many people in the lobby or the entrance. The hotel was nice and I got curious about the restaurants at the entrance. That was the first time seeing a hotel with a restaurant located in the lobby or near the information and it was open to passers-by. I also got attracted to the painting hung on the wall so I took advantage of the painting and took pictures of it as my souvenir. After a while, we proceeded to the summit venue at the grand ballroom. As we arrived at the Hall, there were lots of participants. The chairs were fully occupied. Some participants were standing. I just observed what will be the flow of the event. After a while, the host announced that the event will start. It started with the parade of marketing directors, from NMD, IMD to GMD then the formal opening started with a prayer and a National Anthem. After which was a raffle.

The most exciting part of the event was when the nutritionist, or the senior vice president of the company from Canada, shared about health concerns and issues. Then the Global Marketing Director shared their life stories about how they became a millionaire and how how they started their business. Their life stories inspired and motivated us all who were present at the said event. I am truly inspired by the two global marketing directors who were a public school teacher 3 in Cebu City and a tricycle driver. They showed their life before and at present. The teacher said in our work we are only productive at the age of 40. Which is true. ​When he was still a teacher he was in debt with a net pay of 500 pesos. There's nothing impossible if you just dream. Dream big to change your life. Work hard to realize your dream then your life will change. All of them shared very inspiring stories. I am touched by their stories and realized that our life is a choice.

I never regret attending the summit, even if there was no food served. I am just their listener but the lessons I got from their shared stories cant be paid. The event ended at exactly 6:30 in the evening. So we rushed in went out and took a ride to the bus terminal. Finally, we arrived home by 10:00 in the evening.

Reflections:

It's good to sometimes accept an invitation to orientation, talks, or in any form. We don't know that the one who invited you was the instrument sent from above. Maybe she/he was sent to answer all your prayers for a life-changing opportunity. Just like this platform. You listen to the one who conducted an orientation so now you are here on this platform. On the other hand in our work, once we are delegated a task we must accept it. We don't know if the learnings we got from the task assigned to us are the needed or useful skills for another opportunity that knocks or comes to our door like a promotion.
