Powoli do przodu / Slowly, but surely [POL/ENG]
Ostatecznie jednak, poza wierceniem w gresie to poszło to nawet sprawnie. Z innych zadań to położyłem ostatnio panele w przedpokoju i przywiesiłem szafkę kuchenną. Ta ostatnia do poprawki, jest nieco krzywo.
Do przemęczenie dochodzą ostatnio problemy z odpornością, zatoki dają o sobie mocno znać i wciąż mam ogólne osłabienie.

Lately, I feel like the protagonist of Zeno of Elea’s paradox. You know the story? A sprinter, in order to run a certain distance, must first run half of it. But to run that half, he must first run a quarter—and so on. As a result, he never actually reaches the finish line. That’s exactly how I’ve been feeling with the renovation lately. The finish line just keeps moving farther away.
I’ve also been operating in slow motion, and tasks that seem simple end up taking me a disproportionate amount of time. Take the sink, for example. Just choosing the mounting took three trips to two different stores, and in the end, I ended up using a DIY solution anyway. Then came the faucet, the drain—assembled from parts of three different sets. It’s starting to look like a real bathroom though.
But the biggest challenge was definitely the bathtub enclosure—something I kept putting off for a long time. In the end, aside from drilling into the porcelain tiles, it actually went pretty smoothly. I still need to tile over it, but I breathed a sigh of relief when I found out the bathtub is under 60 cm high. No need for patchwork—I’ll just lay two large-format tiles and be done with it. Other tasks included laying floor panels in the hallway and mounting a kitchen cabinet. The cabinet needs a bit of fixing—it’s slightly crooked.
On top of being tired, I’ve been having some issues with my immune system. My sinuses are acting up a lot, and I’m feeling generally weak. I’m starting to suspect I might be allergic to the cat. Even though I’ve never had symptoms like this before, the timing since bringing in the little furball is a bit suspicious. It’s been a month now since I became a cat dad. We’re getting along pretty well—he especially loves playing with water dripping from the faucet and hunting flies that come in through the window.

The cat looks indeed very suspicious! Probably his fur is the cause of your sinusitis... He look like a good companion on your renewal marathon... Fingers crossed that you could finish sooner then you are expecting!
The bathroom is starting to look like a bathroom finally, and yeah: I think it's taken a lot of time but then slow progress is still progress.
If you think you're allergic to the cat, perhaps you should do something about it.
Yeah, I have my appointment in July :)

I was wondering how are you feeling and then the update came :)! I totally understand your “frustration” with the never ending finish but just try to keep it positive and think of all the wonderful memories that will be created there :D!
As for the little 4 legged fart, I really hope you’re not allergic although there is medicine against it (I think?). Fingers crossed that you feel better soon :)!
I'm slowly coming back to health. I know it's going to be ok, but the road there is rough sometimes.
And I saw you are on agrocultural adventure, aren't you? I used to visit my grandma when I was younger for farming too:)
Yup the road can be bumpy sometimes😖.
Hahah yes! I’ve been planting potatoes for as long as I can remember 🤣. Aw those must be some beautiful memories for you :)?
I remember my first love asking me if I'm going to be here goyfriend next to the wheelbarrel full of beatroots :D we both were 5 and later I was so sad when I had to come back to my hometown. We never met again, but these are warm memories :)
Cats would play with anything, mine is teaching himself how to use the printer lately mainly the copying part. Sometimes when I come home, if I forgot the printer on, I find multiple copies of whatever document I left inside the scanner. :))
wow, cat office-assistant! Does the cat have good relations with Max?
Really good, well it's been around Max since he was 2-3 weeks old.
Remonty są bardzo filozoficzne i metafizyczne
