A Photography Holiday Without Photography...

Way back in January I saw a holiday on a website for a great price of £120 for 5 nights, yes it was a caravan holiday, but there's nothing wrong with that at all and for the first week in June it was an absolute bargain.
I'd been itching to get on a photography holiday for a while and I thought this would be the perfect time for some landscape photography as well as a bit of astro photography.

The above shot was photoshopped with the milkyway in it, this is the sort of shot I had in mind, sadly the weather put a stop to this.

(The road to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne)

As you can see with the cloud on the above image, this is what I had to contend with as well as rain and gale force winds.

Another photoshop of the shot I wanted to get.

This is the original shot that I did on the morning that I was heading home, with the castle being on an island you have to be aware of tide times as it does get shut off when the tide comes in, I also had a 3.5-4 hour drive home, so didn't want to get stuck on the island.

This is one of my favourite shots of the holiday but saying that, I didn't take too many shots over the holiday.
I am kind of gutted I didn't get the shots I wanted on this occasion, but I had a great holiday any way, AND it's just an excuse to go back up and have another holiday there lol. Every cloud does have a silver lining.

I really hope that you have enjoyed my shots, I do have a few more to post, as I did manage to get the drone up on one morning at least lol.

Thanks for reading :-)
