The time comes when the yellow turns red and my body is invaded by an inexplicable sense of well-being, a strange optimism (as @rumbapoet would say). I let go of whatever I'm doing, abandon the internal dialogue and immediately two only two options come to mind for that moment:

-One is to sit in the hammock on the porch that we made with pallets and a machete for the kid to play in. Although it is very rustic, it accompanies me every afternoon, because David, who is the owner of the hammock, puts it up for me without any problem; I guess he senses my need to observe.

-And the other option is to take the camera and start photographing everything I can. I go out and in every corner there is something that becomes magical once the light touches it.

Yesterday I easily opted for photographs, which with a different look, a deeper one. Usually thousands of details of everyday life escape us, but if we stop to observe them, however tiny they may be, we realize that there is another incredible world at our fingertips.

It all started with a butterfly that caught my attention and in my eagerness to have a capture of it I was focusing on the smallest fragment that my old camera allowed me, that's how I found an incredible amount of images that showed everything that remains hidden behind ignorance. In my little experience I can say that I loved the result of this touching practice.

El mundo de los diminutos

Llega la hora donde el amarillo se enrojece y mi cuerpo se invade de una sensación de bienestar inexplicable, un optimismo extraño (como diría @rumbapoet). Suelto lo que sea que esté haciendo, abandono el diálogo interno y enseguida me surgen dos únicas opciones para ese momento:

-Una es sentarme en la hamaca del portal que hicimos con pallets y un machete para que el niño jugara. Aunque es muy rústica me acompaña cada tarde, pues David, que es el dueño me la sede sin problema; supongo que siente mi necesidad de observar.

-Y la otra opción es tomar la cámara y ponerme a fotografiar todo lo que pueda. Salgo y en cada esquina hay algo que se vuelve mágico una vez la luz lo toca.

Ayer me decanté fácilmente por las fotografías, lo que con una mirada diferente, una más profunda. Generalmente se nos escapan miles de detalles de la vida cotidiana, pero si nos detenemos a observarlos por diminutos que sean, nos damos cuenta de que hay otro mundo increíble a nuestro alcance.

Todo comenzó por una mariposa que llamo mi atención y en mi afán por tener una captura de ella fui enfocando hasta el más mínimo fragmento que me permitió mi vieja cámara, fue así como di con una increíble cantidad de imágenes que mostraban todo lo que permanece oculto tras la ignorancia. En mi poca experiencia puedo decir que me encantó el resultado de esta práctica enternecedora.
