Van Life chapter 2 : quarry business - Lightpainting on Hive
Hello!
Two weeks ago, I made my second van trip π
Idea was to meet friends near Paris, party together during the first night then drive to a very nice location we first visited in 2020 for a two-days trip. Fortunately the weather was perfect, warm and sunny as Hell π₯
We arrived during the afternoon and we took a couple of hours to explore the entire location. Here are few pics I took with my phone during the trip :
After that we took a 2-hours break for a BBQ, then we took a bit of rest before dusk. I had a precise idea of what I wanted to take in picture first so we headed to the machines :
These are used to cut huge blocks of stone. It's not common to visit an active quarry and we were very lucky this time.
Location won't be revealed to avoid scavengers and thieves. If you recognize it, please don't say where it is π

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
