The Lara Croft-esque quarry trip (part 2) - Lightpainting on Hive
Hi,
Finally, I made this long awaited lightpainting trip around the Charente river 😎
Me and my pal Bzy met two weeks ago for an incredible journey during another heatwave.
We had few info about location of the quarries so we scouted in the country as we like. It didn't take long to find entries of the different sites as the heat gave us an extra motivation.
The fisrt place we visited was really like Lara Croft's adventures back in the days : very small quarries in the forrest. I took pictures with my phone as it was more convenient than grabbing my camera.
At one point, we found a bigger quarry, connected to a large network. During our walk, we found a location called The Lake. It's really wide, but we only see a fraction of it here :
It was a blast and we're looking forward the next trip 😎🤗

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
