The former underground military base part 3 - Lightpainting on Hive

Hi there,

After a break with social medias, I'm back on tracks :)

Here's picture made during a recent trip near Paris with my usual partners in crime.

It's a location I visited a couple of times before. It was closed during several years but urban exporators re-opened it recently.
This is a network of former underground limestone quarries exploited separately first, but linked together at the very last time of use when a whealthy owner bought them all. Then WW2 occured and changed everything : allied forces decided to settle NATO military bases around Europe after the conflict and that's why this place was built under a forest somewhere around the capital city.

For that session, we were all agree to focus on exploring the quarries but one of my mates wanted to photograph a couple of things in the military part so here we go :

That massive tank was not the biggest we saw, but it was the most convenient to photograph with a nice frame. We planned to go back there this month so I'll be able to take photographs of the bigger tanks soon.

WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?
Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
