Today's post is about a lightpainting trip I made mi-june close to my home.

I was happy to visit again this location I scouted during April. After a very pleasant 1st session here, I wanted to take a different path in my creative process using that nice tunnel.

For that picture, I lit the tunnel alternatively with light-blue and orange 16 times (8 times at 16mm and 8 times at 35mm) to create my background. Then, I worked with a diamond-shaped plexiglas tool mounted on a flashlight and handled with a third-arm :

I kept the same basis on that one but I made more rotations :

The next one is more simple : a 8 rotation job lighting the tunnel in orange and light-blue and a work with a black optic fiber tool mounted on a flashlight and handled with a third-arm :

No layers /no Photoshop / no editing except minor adjustments (lens correction profite, WB, contrast (+12)) and addition of my logo.

WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?
Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
