NYE : a trip to Oleron Island - Lightpainting on Hive
Hello,
Here's a post about a trip I made two weeks ago.
As I live close to the ocean, I have instant access to a lot of beautiful islands on the atlantic coast. A friend of mine has a holiday mansion in one of them and we have the habit to meet there and the end of the year, to spend good time together and celebrate New Year's Eve at the beach.
This year, I had luck as the full moon occured during my journey. I took a couple of hour for myself and a made a lightpainting session alone at the beach. At the end, a couple of my friends joined me, bringing beers and music to turn the trip into paradise.

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
