Noah (part 3) - Infrared Photography on Hive
Hey guys,
Last year in August, I met Alice aka Liss Funk and Noah aka Ekilibro.
They're in couple and I had in mind to do a photoshooting with Alice at first. But, when Noah joined us with the kids and took a look at the pictures we took earlier, he wanted to try a couple of things in front of the camera.
Noah is a self-taught artist from Cameroon. His passion for balance, inspired by circus art, naturally led him to dance. In 2006, he discovered breakdancing with the Sn9per Cr3w, where he gradually developed his own style, combining hip-hop, acrobatics, and balance.
Ekilibro sees dance as a space for encounter, dialogue and inclusion. His work is driven by the intersection of aesthetics, the blending of influences and the exploration of cultural heritage. He considers the diversity of artistic backgrounds and expressions to be an essential asset, where each movement becomes a universal language, capable of uniting, emancipating, and forging links between cultures and individuals.

love how you captured the SOOC infrared vibe with the Kolari IR Chrome and tied it to Ekilibro's idea of movement as dialogue. The Canon 6D full spectrum plus 24 to 105mm f/4 combo keeps the look consistent, and and it really fits his journey from Sn9per Cr3w to a voice about inclusion and balacne. It reads like you built a space where technique serves story, which is kinda rare and pretty cool.
Thank you so much @amr008, this is the best comment I received here for months! :D It's always cool when someone really pays attention to my job 🙏
You are most welcome.
These infrared shots are mesmerizing — they capture both Noah’s movement and spirit so beautifully. Incredible work!"
Thanks you so much @anlizapasaje1234 😎
