Maelane (part 2) - Infrared Photography on Hive
Hello everyone!
Maelane is a dancer from britanny, born and raised in Redon.
She moved to Paris a couple of years ago as she needed to reach a wider audience and develop her carrer as a professional dancer/dance teacher. We have a couple of friends in common so, naturally, we met during a party and we quickly spoke about a collaboration.
For this session, Maelane came with her bestie Léa who's specialized in indian dance. It was very convenient as one was in frame while the other was taking a bit of rest, so we kept a high pace (that's how I like to work).
Infrared shots created in real time, captured to the camera in single photographic frames. SOOC
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing exept minor adjustments and addition of my logo.

What a great working dynamic including Léa in the session. You can tell that keeping that high pace helped the photos feel very natural and full of energy
It's always better when you can have two or more dancers at the same time than only one 😁😁 They motivate each other and, sometimes, they combine to produce great unexpected results 😎
As the feeling was instantly natural, Léa and me saw each other several times after this meeting and we collaborated a couple of times together during daylight and even at night :

She's beautiful with the purple background.
The purple background made her more pretty and lively.
Thanks a lot @ronimarie82. Effect produced when you combine a full spectrum camera and the 85B Hoya filter is really cool, if you like purple of course.
