Le Nez en l'Air #3 : Domaine Bonnet-Huteau (Lightpainting on Hive)
Hello!
I'm an active member of the Pep's Art collective here in Nantes. We are painters, sculptors, graffiti artists, drawers, photographers, upcyclers, lightpainters...
We created the Nez en l'Air festival in 2022 and we organized the 3rd edition this year in March.
Like the other artists of the collective and a dozen of guests, I took part to the exhibition in one location (the Grand Mouton domain). In addiction I did several lightpainting photocalls/workshops at different spots, because I think it's really important to show how we do what we do and to stimulate and encourage people to do art too, whatever the form.
Here's a couple of pictures I took at the Bonnet-Huteau domain during day 3 (saturday). I made a 3-hour animation with time for visitors to try lightpainting and moments when I took lamps to do portraits.
Here are Elisa & Jean-Jacques, the owners on the domain and I'm really grateful for everything they made for us to make that event a successful one :

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.

Wonderful effects. It looks like photographic magic.
